Full Time Police Officers

Chief Ronald Landry. Chief Landry comes to the Millville Police Department after having most recently served as Detective Captain for the Woonsocket Police Department. A Woonsocket police officer since 1984, Chief Landry has served as a patrol officer, detective sergeant, vice sergeant, traffic lieutenant, uniformed division captain, operations captain and most recently, detective captain. In the latter position his responsibilities included managing a caseload of 31 detectives, including those in the Vice Unit, Juvenile Bureau, Prosecution Bureau and the Forensics Unit. Chief Landry holds a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Roger Williams University and is presently studying for his master's degree from the university as well.

Officer Steven Evans. Officer Evans joined the Millville Police Department in 2006 as a part-time officer. He began his law enforcement career in 2001 when he graduated from the Massachusetts Special State Police Academy. Since then he is a graduate of the MPTC Reserve Police Academy, United States Navy Law Enforcement Academy and the MPTC Recruit Police Academy. Officer Evans has also served full-time on various University Police Departments prior to being hired full-time in Millville in 2007. Officer Evans is a certified Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) instructor, Field Training Officer (FTO) and Mountain Bike Patrol officer. He currently holds an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice and serves in the United States Naval Reserve as a Master at Arms.

Officer Stephen Sinko. Officer Sinko joins the Millville Police Department after having graduated from the Boylston Municipal Police Academy in April of 2006. Prior to joining Millville, he worked part-time for the Hopedale Police Department in addition to serving two years as a full-time dispatcher in the town of Mendon. Officer Sinko holds an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Mass Bay Commuity College and currently serves as the departments Field Training Officer (FTO).
